Virginia Lee Nelson was born on January 15, 1950 in Dumas, Arkansas from the union of Jimmy Lee Nelson and Augusta Mae Hines. Both parents proceeded her in death, In the year 1966 Virginia attended Castelmont High School located at 8601 Macarthur Blvd, Oakland, CA. and completed the 12th grade in 1968. Later she met James Fredrick Green, a Track Star from San Fernando Valley High School. From there union five children were born. Forty years earlier, James Fredrick Green preceded her in death.
Virginia Lee Nelson worked most of her life as a Colorectal Licensed Nurse Specialist in Oakland, CA for 12 years. She relocated to Kings County, Hanford, CA and started attending Hope Fellowship Center Church at 221 Fox St., Lemoore, CA. On June 25, 202,3 she confessed Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins as per John 3:5 and Acts 2:38.
On April 20, 2026, Virginia Lee Nelson was called to rest. She leaves to cherish her memory, 3 brothers; Issac, Lester and Curtis Brown, 3 sisters: Jacqueline, Lucinda and Brenda Brown, 1 son: James Lee Green, 2 daughters: Chalanda and Elundia Green, 10 grandchildren: Leroy Coleman, Danny Coleman, Marrisha Jacobs, Mannisha Horn, Summer Montejano, Kamari Jeffrey, Amari Iford, Janon Jr., Danon and Dione Green, 4 great grandchildren: Leroy Jayden Coleman IV, Romarri Hayes, Eli Coleman and Mercy Green as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
