Veronica Jackson-Urquidez

Veronica Jackson-Urquidez, 47, passed away suddenly in her home in Hanford, CA on April 18, 2024. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, and friend. She leaves behind her four children - Alexis Jackson (28), Nicholas Urquidez (19), Isaiah Urquidez (16), and Ethan Urquidez (16), her husband Samuel Urquidez and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lupie Lopez in 2015, and her father, Glen Dale Jackson in 2022. Veronica was a member of Vickie’s Dance Studio throughout her youth along with best friends Betty Welsh-McVay and Stephanie Sarco, who passed in 2015.

Veronica attended Lincoln Elementary School and Woodrow Wilson Jr. High. She graduated in 1994 from Hanford High School, where she was a member of the band as a Baton twirler all 4 years of her high school career.

Veronica was employed as a psychiatric technician for 17 years. She returned to her hometown of Hanford in 2021 after living in the Stockton area for 6 years.

She leaves behind so many good memories and will be missed by all who knew her.
