Steven Keith Curley passed away with his family by his side on December 2, 2024, at the age of 67 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cathy Curley; his children, Erin Simon (Ryan Simon) and Ethan Bennett-Curley (Kayla Bennett); his grandchildren, Catherine, Anthony, and Sofia; his mother, Jane Martin; his siblings, Brenda Randall, Rhonda Gray, Susie Ray, and Joe Danley, and all of his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Curley, step-father, Louie Martin, sister, Sonja Silva, and step-daughter Roxann Raygoza. Steven was born on August 28, 1957, in Hanford, California. He attended Hanford High School for 3 years, and graduated high school from Gresham High School in Gresham, Oregon. As an adult, he worked for Van Gas for many years, followed by security jobs for the Visalia Mall, JCPenney, and the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, and his most recent place of employment was Warmerdam Packing. He loved baseball, even playing on a city league team, Regina’s, and loved to watch football - the Minnesota Vikings were his favorite team. He enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool, and bowling with friends and family, as well as camping at nearby Shaver Lake. Steven’s favorite vacation spots were Las Vegas, the Central Coast, Mexico, and Catalina Island, and his free time was spent woodworking. He will be remembered by the community as a man who loved to sing, anywhere and everywhere. At the family’s request, no services will be held. The family wishes to send special thanks to the staff at Community Regional Medical Critical Care Unit of Fresno for their care and compassion during this difficult time
