Stephen E. Guevara, 76, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, in Hanford, California. A retired and accomplished businessman and owner of G’s Ag Service Inc., Stephen was highly regarded for his contribution to the community and deeply admired for his steadfast dedication to family, faith and service.
A devoted Catholic, Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Army, earning an honorable discharge in 1974. Known for his sharp sense of humor, generous spirit, and the lasting friendships he cultivated, he was a beloved figure among all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Jesus Guevara, his beloved wife Vickie Jo; sons Stephen Jr and Randy; sisters Lucy Pipkin and Stella Gonzales; and brothers Sammy and Tommy Guevara.
Stephen leaves behind a legacy of love, humor and generosity, a legacy that will forever inspire and bring comfort to those who mourn his loss.
Stephen is survived by his son Gaberiel Che and (wife) Pam, daughter n law Katie, sister Alice Navarro, Esther Kinisley, Mary Goit, Gloria Sifuentes, Lupe Carrasco and brother Phil Guevara. Grandchildren; Ryan and (wife) Megan, Bryce, Chase and (wife) Elizabeth, Ethan, Mckenna, Skyler, Kaly, Sebastian, Seth and Spencer. Great Grandchildren; Blaine, Hailey, Maddox, Cohen and Steven. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, a very special recognition to his beloved companion Ana Espinoza and her son David Ramos.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan 8, 2025, from 5-7pm, Rosary at 6:00pm at Whitehurst- McNamara Funeral Chapel. Mass will be held Thursday Jan 9, 2025, at 10:00am at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital ( 501 St.Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) and Wounded Warrior Project ( P.O Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675) organizations that Stephen felt strongly about.
