Rudy A Banuelos

Rudy Angel Banuelos was born to Frank O Banuelos and Delores V. Banuelos in Fresno, CA.  Rudy was raised in Hanford. He attended local schools including Woodrow Wilson and Hanford High, where he was on the wrestling team.  He later went back to night school and graduated in 1986.

Rudy worked as a field worker during his younger years. He also worked as a janitor at a local bank, at Turner Feed & Seed, Sanchez Feed, Lemoore Naval Air Station in irrigation and at Tachi Palace in the HVAC department. 

Rudy is survived by his wife Josie Banuelos, one son, Rudy A. Banuelos, Jr. & wife Cynthia Banuelos of Hanford, two daughters, Teresa Banuelos and Barbara Banuelos both of Hanford.  He leaves two brothers, Johnny Banuelos of Hanford and Eddie Cordova & wife Roxanne Cordova of Hanford, one sister, Virginia Escovedo of Kingsburg.  Rudy is survived by his 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rudy was a great man, Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend who enjoyed family, friends, his grandchildren and listening to his oldies.

A memorial service for Rudy will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11:00am at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home.
