Rosa Hendrix was born on December 5, 1937, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Vera Drewry and Cleo Hairell. She grew up with her brothers Russell Hairell (wife Barbara), Danny Hairell, and Michael Drewry.
On September 5, 1953, Rosa married the love of her life, Charlie Hendrix Jr. Together they built a family grounded in faith, love, and devotion.
She was a devoted mother to Larry Hendrix Sr. and Regina Worrell (husband Scott). She was a proud grandmother to Larry Hendrix Jr., Scott Worrell Jr., Toby Hendrix (wife Nickie), and Jodi Cooper (husband Brett).
Her greatest joy was being a great-grandmother to Blaze Hendrix, Makylah Hendrix, Jackson Worrell, Gage Cooper, Larkyn Hendrix, Derek Cooper, and Hayden Hendrix — with another great-granddaughter expected this year.
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Drewry and Cleo Hairell; her brother, Russell Hairell; and her beloved husband, Charlie Hendrix Jr.
Her life was a testimony of strength, kindness, and faith. She will forever be remembered for her devotion to family, her gentle spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
