Ronald "Ron" Augusto

Ronald “Ron” Augusto passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 69. He spent most of his life on the family dairy in the Island District in Lemoore, where he farmed alongside his dad and brothers, building a life rooted in hard work and family.

Ron will be remembered as a quiet, kind-hearted man who loved being outdoors, especially in the mountains, camping, deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice; daughter Melisa; son Jeffery (Heidi); granddaughters Zoey and Gwen; brother Michael, twin brother John (Mary), brother Raymond (Carol), and brother Eddie (Diane); and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Idalina Augusto; in-laws Alton and Phyllis Costa; brother-in-law Dale Costa; and sisters-in-law Julie Augusto and Margie Rocha.

A visitation will be held at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, followed by a Catholic Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a reception at 200 W. Bush Street, Hanford, following interment.
