Robert (Rob) Eugene Rose October 20,1961-July 6, 2024
Robert was born October 20,1961 in Visalia, CA, and passed away peacefully on July 6,2024 at Brighton Post Acute. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Brighton Post Acute for taking care of Rob the past four years after he suffered a stroke.
Rob is survived by his siblings: Scheryl (Jerry) Jordan, Richard (Kathy) Rose, and Doug (Gail) Rose, several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Alice Rose, and godfather, Francis Thomas.
Rob attended Kit Carson and Thomas McCarthy, and graduated from Hanford High School in 1979. He grew up on the dairy and learned to work the ranch at young age. He drove truck, and was a machinist last working at Valley Pump and Dairy Systems in Armona.
Rob enjoyed riding his Harley, watching NASCAR, building things, and collecting old farm equipment. He also enjoyed watching Family Feud and the Cooking Channel.
Rob was good with his hands, he could fix or repair anything. He had a great sense of humor and made the people around him feel welcome. His famous words to live by were, “If you can’t be good, be yourself.” He will be deeply missed by his family.
A graveside service will be held at Hanford Cemetery on August 10th at 9:30 am. Reception to follow.
