Raymond Javier Perez, 51 years old, born December 1st, 1972, in Fresno, CA, and received his wings on June 12, 2024. He is survived by his wife Melissa, daughters Jaylene and Olivia, son Josiah, grandson Zander, his two sisters Donna Valles and Stella Perez, niece Aylssa Reyes, nephews Gilbert Reyes and Joseph Alcoser. Ray was preceded to Heaven with both his parents Carmen Cerda and Raymond Perez.
He graduated from Laton High School in 1990 and graduated from the University Technical Institute in Phoenix, AZ, with his HVAC certificate. He would spend the rest of his life working as an HVAC technician for his career and promoted to Chief Engineer at Pleasant Valley State Prison until his passing. Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His family was always a priority, and everyone knew it. He was always talking about accomplishments any of them had made. The love he had for them was endless. Ray has always made everyone feel welcome, would help anyone. He had a smile that everyone will never forget. He will be greatly missed, and everyone will cherish the wonderful memories. He was a kind man that loved to share the word of God. He was a devoted Christian, loved to always sing Christian songs, and lived his life as a true testament of God’s will.
Memorial Service will be held on June 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church in Hanford, CA. Condolences and remembrances can be posted on www.whitehurstmcnamarafuneralservice.com.
