Olivia also embraced three more children, Rudy Gomez, Sandra Ortiz, and Fred Ybarra (who preceded Olivia in 2023). Olivia was blessed with four grand-children, Rudy Gomez Jr, AJ Ortiz III, Alfred and Mason Ybarra. She also was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Kiera and Addison Gomez. She also was blessed with many Nieces and Nephews.
Family was always important to Olivia, and you were family just by being her friend. If anyone ever needed anything, she was there for them. Knowing how to balance a budget and save for the fun things was one of her brilliant skillsets. She loved to have a good time on the town with the money she saved. Olivia loved to gamble, and she would tell you she did it well. Dressing fabulous and making trips to the salon for hair styling was who she was. She loved beautiful clothing, makeup, and jewelry so much she could have been on the catwalk herself! She also was really passionate about collecting. Items such as Roosters, Owls, and Statues that you swore were watching you when you entered her home. She also loved her garage and taking care of it, such as cleaning it religiously. Making sure that it felt organized as well as cozy, ready for whoever may stop by. Her home was one of the places she loved to be, and this was especially true around the holidays where her family gathered every year. Olivia loved to be surrounded by her family, and she loved making sure they were well taken care of.
The viewing for Olivia will be held at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Home on Friday, February 16th, in Hanford, CA 93230, from 10am-12pm. The Chapel Blessing and Rosary will immediately follow. Olivia will be laid to rest at the Calvary Cemetery in Hanford after the services.
