Lewis Sosa, Sr.

 Lewis Sosa Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on March 5, 1973 in Mitchell, Texas. Lewis lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.

Lewis is the son of the late John and Olivia Sosa. He grew up in a loving home, with his 8 siblings, who will forever hold onto the memories they shared together.

After graduating high school Lewis would later go on to earn his CDL license and pursue a career in trucking. He was hardworking, dependable, and always committed to providing for his loved ones.

He shared a lifelong love story with his high school sweetheart and partner in all things, Isabel. They would later marry and together build a beautiful family and home filled with warmth and joy. Lewis leaves behind his wife Isabel, their six children, and twelve grandchildren who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his siblings and his loyal companions, three dogs who never left his side.

Lewis had a smile that could brighten any room and a laugh that lifted spirits wherever he went. He found joy in fishing, cheering for football, hosting barbecues, and enjoying a cold beer surrounded by friends and family.

He will be remembered not only for his kindness and humor but also for the love he poured into his family and the many memories he created with them.

Lewis’s legacy will live on through his wife Isabel, his children, his grandchildren, and his siblings. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
