In Loving Memory of Kaeten Louis Amaral (“Bubby”)
Kaeten Louis Amaral, lovingly known as “Bubby,” passed away on January 31, 2026. He was welcomed into Heaven by his mother, Kelly Amaral; his aunt, Jacki Cardoza; his grandfather, Louis Cardoza; his grandmother, Alma Cardoza; and his grandparents Joseph and Lynn Amaral. We find comfort knowing they were waiting for him in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
Born August 6, 1993, in Hanford, California, to Kelly and Shannon Amaral, Bubby was raised with deep Portuguese roots and a strong love for family. Much of his childhood was spent with his grandparents on Easy Street, where he cherished time in the pool, family gatherings, and horseshoe games. He grew up in the home his father built on Dover Avenue, riding quads and making lifelong memories along the Kings River — the water was always his happy place, whether at rivers, lakes, beaches, or jet skiing under the sun.
He is survived by his father, Shannon Amaral; his brother Colby “CJ” Amaral (35), who manages Amaral Construction with their father; and his younger brother, Kyler Amaral (25) of Los Angeles. Bubby was a strong, protective big brother who stepped up for his family and carried a deep love for his brothers.
Kind, non-judgmental, and gentle at heart, Bubby had many friends who loved him dearly. He was an animal lover and leaves behind his beloved dog, Harley. Creative and smart, he loved art, gaming on his Xbox, PlayStation, and VR headset, and had a deep appreciation for hip hop culture — especially Snoop Dogg. He enjoyed traveling, longboarding, meeting new people, and all his favorite comfort foods, from Italian meals and sour candy to a Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell.
A skilled contractor, Bubby was proud to work in the family business, Amaral Construction. He was hardworking, dependable, and deeply devoted to those he loved.
Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing he is reunited with those who went before him. Until we meet again, Bubby — we love you forever.
