With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Juana Maria Angela Meza, who entered eternal rest on February 17, 2026, at the age of 54, after bravely fighting cancer with strength, dignity, and grace. Born on June 8, 1971, and raised in Hanford, California, Juana was a woman whose heart was as beautiful as her smile. Hanford was not just her hometown — it was the place where she built her life, raised her family, and created countless memories filled with love, laughter, and faith. Juana was the devoted and loving wife of Everardo Meza. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, partnership, and unconditional love. She was the proud and nurturing mother of Daniela, Gustavo, and Kasandra Meza, who were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She warmly welcomed her daughter-in-law, Kerrina Meza, and her son-in-law, Mark Anthony Toralez, into the family with the same love and open heart she gave to everyone. Her grandchildren — Benjamin Toralez, Angelo Meza, and Lorenzo Meza — were the light of her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than hearing their laughter, celebrating their milestones, and holding them close. They were her heart.
Juana dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving the community as an educational tutor with the Hanford Elementary School District. She was deeply passionate about helping students grow, learn, and believe in themselves. With patience, compassion, and encouragement, she supported countless children in reaching their goals. She had a special gift for connecting with students, making each child feel seen, valued, and capable. To many, she was more than a tutor — she was a mentor, a guiding light, and a steady source of support. Helping others succeed was not just her profession; it was her calling. She was also a loving sister and truly the best aunt — always present, always supportive, and always ready with a warm hug, wise advice, or a listening ear. Her family meant everything to her, and she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly. Juana will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, her unwavering faith, and the way she always put others before herself. Even during her illness, she remained courageous and hopeful, teaching us through her example what true resilience and unconditional love look like.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, embraced in eternal rest, and watching over us with the same love she gave so freely in life. Her legacy lives on in her family, and in every life she made brighter. She will be Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
