Jose "Joe" S. Avila entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 2, 2014 at Fresno Community Hospital at the age of 44 years. He was born in Africa. There will be a viewing on Tues., July 8, 2014 from 8:30-9:15 a.m. at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service, Hanford. Rosary to follow at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Hanford. Burial to conclude at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service.
