Johnnie Kennedy Banegas, 56, of Hanford, CA was born July 8, 1963. He went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
Johnnie is survived by his children; (Daughter) Vanessa Balbina (Husband) Robert Gonzales, (Daughter) Ashly Tamayo (Husband) Roman Tamayo Sr. and (Son) Johnnie J. Banegas all of Hanford CA. Also surviving (Brother) Rick Banegas of central coast and Victoria Rodriguez of Hanford, CA.
Johnnie’s pride and joy was his beautiful 6 grandchildren; Jaide Balbina, Robert Gonzales Jr., Mercedes Tamayo, Roman Tamayo Jr., Ciara Tamayo and Jayke Tamayo, as well as 1 great granddaughter Avianna Tamayo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Dodo Banegas and Mary Socorro Banegas.
Johnnie graduated Hanford High School and worked at several jobs, Roofing, the old Grocery Outlet and for the City of Hanford and Lemoore.
Johnnie was a wonderful loving father and grandfather. He loved spending every moment with his family barbecuing and watching the weekend fights while enjoying all his favorite foods. He always attended his grandchildren’s school events and sports. He was their number one fan. He would never miss a baseball game. He loved going out to the baseball complex to hang out and eat hot dogs and frito boats while enjoying an evening game watching his grandsons play ball.
Our Father was so full of life, love and happiness. We will forever cherish the funny, goofy and loving memories we hold close to our hearts. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
