Joey M. Evangelo

Joey M. Evangelo passed peacefully April 16,2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Joey is survived by his wife, Lucia, of 34 years and his 2 sons Jacob and Joshua.  His brothers John Evangelo (Barbara), James Evangelo (Annette), Sisters Mary Evangelo, Diane Schaffer (Arnie), Patsy Noel (John) Joanne Black (Steve) sister-in-law Terrie Evangelo, numerous nieces and nephews and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Tony and Mamie Evangelo, Brother Anthony Evangelo and Sister and Brother-in-law Alice and Bob Randall.

Joey married the love of his life, Lucia Lemos, on April 27, 1991, where they started their life in Lemoore, CA and then settled in Hanford to raise their family.  Joey worked 35 plus years for Animal Health International.

He proudly coached his boys in baseball starting from Little League thru High School where they went on to win Valley High School Championship in 2013.

Joey truly loved golfing and BBQing for his family and dear friends and for sure always with a cocktail in his hand!

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2025, 8:30 am at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home.  Rosary will be April 29, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Brigid’s Church with mass at 10:30 am.  Burial to follow at Lemoore Cemetery, Lemoore, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to a Charity of your choice in memory of Joey.
