Gloria Hernandez Ruiz

The family of Gloria Hernandez Ruiz of Hanford CA is saddened to announce of her passing on June 18th 2025 at the age of 86 years. She was born January 17th 1939 in Los Angeles, CA to Antonio and Bernarda (Maurico) Hernandez. She married John G Ruiz in 1953. She was known as "La Pulga" by many of her family and friends. She started her family in Los Angeles then moved to Hanford in 1965 where she planted her roots and expanded her love for life. She is survived by her children Irene (Mike) Armstrong of Oakhurst, CA Laura Ruiz of Hanford, CA Yvonne (Frank) Pittman of Visalia, CA AnaMarie (Alex) Perez of Granger, WA John H (Cristine) Ruiz of Hanford, CA Robert W (Mabel) Ruiz of Hanford, CA Richard G Ruiz of Hanford, CA Also 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 2 more on their way and many nieces, nephews and friends. Her children are the most important and are always first. She loved to cook, listen to her favorite music and have a good time with everyone. She also enjoyed traveling to Washington, Oregon, Texas, the mountains and beach. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when you needed her the most. Offering her support, wisdom and love in abundance. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and siblings.
