Force Andrew Bradshaw Sr.

Force Andrew Bradshaw, Sr., more commonly known as 4C, was born on July 24, 1940, and departed to his heavenly home October 3, 2025.

Force’s living legacy includes his children: Marcus Pruitt, Delia (Lee), Andrea (Stephens), and Mona (Coleman).          

The story of his strength continues through 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

He also leaves behind his beloved siblings: Sisters, Mae (Wartson), Doris Bradshaw, Ree Bradshaw-Richardson, and brother, Vernell Price.

He was preceded in death by his parents Faite and Flora Bell Bradshaw, his beloved wife, Gwendolyn (Gwen)Bradshaw, his sisters, Lyndell Loudermilk, Erma Dell Coleman, and his son, Force Andrew Bradshaw Jr. (Junebug)

Force was born in Foreman Arkansas to Faite and Flora Bell Bradshaw.  He and his family relocated to Hanford California at a young age.  During his youth he was very active in the football, wrestling and woodshop programs at Hanford Joint Union High School.

Before his medical retirement, he had worked 25+ years at Walker Farms as a machine operator.  He was a skilled mechanic and handyman—in our eyes, he could do just about anything.  And it would be remiss not to mention his love of fishing; you could always count on finding a fishing pole tucked in the back of his car.

Following the loss of his wife, Gwen, on October 1, 2009, he continued forward with remarkable resilience, living independently and with quiet grace.

Though it’s hard to say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on—in the lessons he taught, and the memories he left us, and other family members and friends. 

Daddy - Papa, thank you for being that strong presence and strength of our family, for your love, and for your example.
