On June 6, 2026, Eduino Manuel Costa entered into eternal rest at the age of 69 in Visalia, CA. Born on January 22, 1957 to Eduino and Matilde Costa, on the island of Faial, Azores. They moved to Kingsburg, CA in 1960, later relocating to Hanford, CA in 1963. There they owned and operated Costa & Sons Dairy. In later years, the business became C&C Holsteins which Manuel owned and operated with his mother. The dairy was a producer for Danish Creamery and Challenge Dairy Foods, as well as Land O’Lakes.
Manuel was active in his community as well as the dairy industry by serving as a board member of Danish Creamery, Western United Dairymen and Kings County D.H.I.A., where he also served as President. His family was honored to be elected as the June Dairy Month Family in 1991. He served over 30 years, including terms as President, for the Hanford Holy Ghost Portuguese Celebration Committee.
Parishioners of St. Brigid Church, Manuel and Judy spent many years volunteering at the DeCampos dinner as their daughters attended St. Rose McCarthy School. Also members of the Kings Guild, Manuel enjoyed his time cooking steaks for the dinners. For years, Manuel enjoyed golfing, he had many golf buddies but also enjoyed taking his daughters and grandchildren to the golf course.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, of 45 years, and their four daughters Michele (Kevin) Ruble, Colleen (Jordan) Brown, Jena Galindo and Toni Costa; and three grandchildren, Benjamin Brown, Kate Brown and Amelia Ruble
