Edgar Flores Obituary

Edgar Flores Flores, age 20, passed away on March 18, 2026. He was born on January 6, 2006, and was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose presence brought energy and life to everyone around him.

Edgar is survived by his loving parents, Cesar Flores Gomez and Ilda Flores Alvarez, and his sister, Julianna Flores Flores. He was deeply loved by his grandparents, Juana Gomez Gutierrez, Antonio Flores Toscano, and Teresa Alvarez Ramos, and is reunited in rest with his grandfather, Francisco Flores Reyes. He also leaves behind many cousins, extended family members, and close friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Edgar was known for being active, curious, and full of life. He took pride in being organized—especially with his tools—and was always willing to help others, never turning down anyone in need. From a young age, he loved playing soccer, staying busy, and being a little mischievous, never one to sit still.

He was also known for the sayings he shared with those closest to him. He would often tell his mother, “Ama eres única porque eres Ilda sin H,” a phrase that reflected his love and humor. To his father, he would say, “Otra vez a los chivos,” and with his sister, cousins, and friends, he would say things like “Bro,” “Oi no ma,” and “Ahí ya ya,” words that will now echo in their hearts.

Edgar began working at a young age, learning to drive tractors and loaders while helping at the dairy where his father worked. After high school, he worked alongside his uncle, Samuel Salcedo, in Wasco in the almond orchards, doing field work from irrigating to driving tractors. He especially enjoyed working with his uncle Gerardo, whom he affectionately called “Mi Tio Mil.” His most recent work was alongside Sage at Sozinho Dairy.

Edgar loved the simple things in life—his favorite color red, McDonald’s meals, and putting stickers on everything. He lived life to the fullest and on the edge, leaving behind unforgettable memories.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Edgar Flores Flores
