Donna Rogers

Donna Rogers, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 28th, 2024, in her home in Visalia, CA surrounded by loved ones.

Donna was born May 3rd, 1939, in San Francisco, CA to Manuel and Vera Avila. Donna married her husband, Matthew Rogers, on October 24th, 1954, in Buttonwillow, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years; her daughter, Janet Rogers; and both parents. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Boswell; son, Paul Rogers and wife, Patricia Rogers; four granddaughters; seven great grandchildren; and many great friends.

Donna was very active in the community. She was in the Auxiliary Club, Cabrillo Club, and volunteered anywhere she could lend a helping hand. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. May her soul rest in peace.    

Services will be held Tuesday, February 6th, 2024. Viewing from 9-10am at Whitehurst Mc Namara Funeral with her burial to follow after at Calvary Cemetery. Rosary and Mass starting at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
