Dominic Isaac Carrasco

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and grandson, Dominic Isaac Carrasco. Dominic went home to Heaven on December 24, 2025, at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera surrounded with love and the people closest to him. He was 16 years old.

Dominic was a Junior at Hanford High School and was in the Partnership Program. He excelled in school, always achieving good grades. Just a few weeks ago, he passed his driver’s test and got his license.

Dominic loved to cook, play video games, care for his dog Remy, play basketball with friends and take walks with friends or by himself. He had a love of music and could always be found with his airpod in.

The most amazing things about Dominic were his kindness, humility, sense of humor and his courage. He loved his family and friends; he cared for everyone making sure no one ever felt left out. He never missed an opportunity to tell those around him how much he loved them, and he gave the absolute best hugs.

Dominic will forever be remembered as an even-tempered, fair, forgiving person. He would always give others the benefit of the doubt. He was incredibly sweet and thoughtful.

Dominic will be missed so deeply every single day by his parents Isaac and Elyda Carrasco, his older sisters Chrystal and Ivy, and his older brother Isaiah. He also leaves his two devoted grandmas Esperanza Perez and Aurora Carrasco as well as many friends and family. We know we will see Dominic again, but until then we hold him in our hearts.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 10:00am - 12:00pm Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home, 100 W. Bush St., Hanford, CA. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hanford Cemetery, 10500 10th Ave, Hanford CA.
