Charles Benedict passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024 in Hanford, California at the age of 86. Charles was born in Dallas, Texas to Frederick and Virginia Benedict. Charles lived his life working in the airline industry and married Laura in 1977. Together, they had a full life of traveling, enjoying family and lived in various places before moving to Hanford, California in 2000 to be close to family. Charles loved family gatherings, watching the grand kids, and playing games. He is survived by a sister Deanna Daugherty, a daughter Robin Kouns, a son Nathan Olson, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Charles is preceded in death by his wife Laura Benedict, his father Frederick Benedict, his mother Virginia Benedict, his brother Mike Benedict and a son Randall Benedict.

Viewing will be held at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home, 100 W. Bush St, Hanford, CA on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00PM
Memorial Service and Graveside Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Hanford Cemetery, 10500 South 10th Ave
