Cenilda Rosa da Silva Costa, born September 1, 1948, to parents Joao & Evangelina da Silva. She reunited with her beloved son Frank in Heaven on December 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Cenilda spent her childhood in Jardin Botanico, Brasil before leaving her home country and moving to Hanford, CA in 1970. She was fondly known by many names, the most precious to her was “Va” but also Mom and C.C. Cenilda never knew a stranger and was easily remembered by her petite stature and obvious Brazilian accent. She always had a smile and a hug ready for all. She loved to chat and joke with anyone she met. Some of her favorite pastimes included cooking to feed anyone that came by, gardening, growing flowers and playing dominoes with her family and friends. Even if it meant guilt tripping them into a game. She also had a deep affection for her dog Bobbi.

Cenilda was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son Frank S. Costa and her longtime companion Delbert Blake. She is survived by her children – Danny and wife Melissa; David and Wife Danette; Christina and favorite Son-In-Law Shannon Lewis and Daughter-In-Law Stacie Costa. Her grand-children – Keavin and Kylee; Daniel and Anistyn; Taylor, Lainey, Brenden, Graceyn and Lillie; Rylan, Coen and Casen. Numerous Nieces and Nephews along with many more close family and friends.
