Carolina Alicia Contreras

In loving memory of Carolina Alicia Contreras. It is with a heavy heart that we announce her unexpected passing at Adventist hospital in Hanford, CA on January 18, 2025, at the age of 38.

Carolina was born on November 12, 1986, at the old Hanford hospital located on Douty St. across from the funeral home where her viewing will be held. Raised in multiple small cities such as Lemoore, Stratford, Armona and Hanford and finally raising a family of her own in Huron. Carolina was the third of four children and shared many wonderful memories alongside her three siblings Tony, Ito and Ana who was always so loving and caring to them among her family, friends and others.

Carolina was a very humble person who had a huge heart. She had the intellectual capacity to accomplish anything she desired. Carolina was strong, hardworking along with loving, lighthearted and had a witty personality. She was always full of joy and optimistic energy even when times were tough; and hardly ever displayed any signs of it. Many people including her coworkers enjoyed her company. Even up until her last day, Carolina worked extensive hours, day and night in order to provide for her family of five daughters and spouse. Despite her unfortunate passing, we will always treasure the memories in our hearts and forever be missed but never forgotten.

Carolina was preceded in death by her beloved father of 54 years, Aurelio Contreras-Garcia; and her beloved grandparents Alicia (Tita) & Jose Ascencio (Tata).

Carolina is survived and forever cherished by her loving husband Kevin Christopher Contreras; their five daughters, Brianna (Bri), Isabella (Bella), Mia, Patricia (Paty), Kayla; along with her beloved mother Alicia; and her beloved siblings, Jose (Tony), Aurelio (Ito) and Analieze (Ana); whom were all loved immensely.

Funeral services will be held at Whitehurst & McNamara Chapel in Hanford, CA on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, beginning with visitation at 4:00 pm for family & 5:00 pm for the public, following a rosary at 6:00 pm. A mass will be held the following day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hanford, CA. Following the mass, Carolina will be laid to rest at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, CA.
