With heavy hearts, we share the life and homegoing of our beloved Ayden Anthony Wyatt.
Born September 12, 2008, Ayden left us on January 30, 2026, at just 17 years old. He was a gifted young man with a bright future ahead of him, preparing to graduate this year with dreams of becoming an electrician. His life was taken in an act of violence that has forever changed our family.
Ayden was our gentle giant. He never needed attention to make an impact. His quiet strength, kind heart, and steady presence spoke for themselves. He always had a smile or a positive word for someone in need. He was protective, thoughtful, and deeply loved.
Ayden was preceded in death by his Papa, Daron Wyatt, and his Grammy, Iris O’Daniel, and joins a long line of loved ones whose legacy continues through him.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Torie Wyatt, and her partner, Lovashia Jones; his devoted Nana, Tanya O’Daniel; his great-grandmother, Mary Wyatt; his grandmother, Jocelyn Johnson; his godmother, Mary Pedreiro; his siblings Abby Embrey, Emma Embrey, Sayvion Jones, Senoj Jones, Jaydah Jones, Lyric Jones, Davon Thomas, Lovashia Jones Jr., and Iyana Jones, along with additional siblings he did not have the opportunity to meet but who remain part of his legacy.
He is also survived by his uncle Devin Ornellas and partner Alexis Privett; uncle Kyle Scott; uncle Trai Wyatt; uncle Trevor Wyatt; aunt Amelia Wyatt; Tia and Tio Monique and David Huerta; and numerous cousins, extended family members, and loved ones.
Services will be held Friday, February 20th at 12 noon at Koinonia Church.
Repass to follow.
Forever our gentle giant. Forever our heartbeat.
