Arlene Marcoux

Arlene Marcoux, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 88 years old.

Born on April 23, 1937, in Hanford, California to Joe and Linda Vierra of Hanford, Arlene was a woman whose heart beat for her family.  Her deep passion for history and lineage inspired her to research for many years the history of both her and her husband’s family so that she could document and create books to pass on to her loved ones.  Whether she was carefully preserving family photographs, tracing ancestral roots or sharing stories of generations gone by, her spirit lives on in the stories she told, the lives she touched and the generations she connected through love.  We will miss her soft, tender heart and soul.  

Arlene leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Joe, her daughters Kim and Kristine, and her grandchildren Drew and Bailey.  Arlene is also survived by sister Diane Silva of Lemoore, and brothers Les Vierra, Sr. and David Vierra, Sr. of Hanford.  She is preceded in death by brother Joe Vierra, Jr. of Lemoore.

The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, followed by a Catholic Mass at 10:30 a.m.   Bural will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
