Our beloved mother, Anna Rose Verheul, daughter of Anna Mary Moniz and August Ornellas, went home to the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Anna Rose was born in Hanford and attended grammar school at Pioneer School, where she unknowingly met the love of her life, Harry Verheul. She then attended Lemoore High School and graduated in 1958. Upon graduation she attended COS for a couple of years and worked at Beacon Oil Company. During this time she reunited with Harry Verheul.
On July 24, 1965 she and Harry married and raised a beautiful family. They were married 59 years. Anna Rose is survived by her husband Harry, two children Karen Sowala and Eric Verheul, and her brother Donald Ornellas. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Sarah, Meghan and Matthew Verheul and Kaitlyn and Andrew Sowala.
She loved trips to the central coast, making the best chocolate chip cookies and above all, she loved her family. She doted over all of her grandkids. We all love and miss you terribly, but we know you are now home in the loving arms of God.
