Abel Martinez Montero, age 69 years old of Armona, CA passed away May 4, 2026. Abel was born on April 19, 1957, in Zacatecas Mexico. His parents were Sylvester and Rosario Montero of Zacatecas Mexico. Abel was survived by his siblings. Elidia Montero Flores, Alberto Montero, Federico Montero, Benjamin Montero, Isabel Hombrite and also survived by his wife, Teresa Montero and his son John A Rodriguez.  Abel also had 21 grandchildren.

Abel worked at Zacky Farms from 1989 to 2003 and then worked at City Wide in Hanford CA from 2011 to 2026. He was always on the go and yes He loved to work even when he came back home from work he took care of the front and backyard and also took care of his Husky Bruno, his birds 5 of them and also on his day off on Sunday, he had another job, his own business at the remate selling bikes and bike parts his son John helped him with that until John’s son Jordan took over and now that Abel is gone now his son John and his grandson Jordan will be taking over for him to keep his memory alive. Abel also on his free time every day after he was done, he would sit in his backyard with his granddaughter Jozie while she plays and he cuts his fresh nopales that he planted. 

Abel was such a kind hearted and loving person he was a great man, Dad, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend and father in law, he also liked to talk to everybody while he was working he gained so many friends over the years he even loved to help others even homeless people he gave them clothes, food, money, He always put everyone before himself.
