If there has been a death in your family and you wish to use our services, we are available 24 hours a day for transport of your loved one to our facilities. You can call the funeral home number at any time, and we will answer. The family can then call for an appointment when they are ready to come in and make arrangements. By scheduling an appointment our staff can offer a time that does not conflict with another appointment, or an ongoing service and our funeral arranger will be able to devote all their time, and attention to the arrangement. It is possible to make funeral arrangements by email in many cases. If you prefer or are out of the area and wish to use online arrangements, please let us know.

Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service is striving to balance the needs of families who are experiencing a loss with the recommendations of local and federal public health authorities. To help keep you safe, our funeral home has put in place and continue the following COVID-19 Virus measures:

Intensified disinfecting of surfaces in the funeral home according to CDC recommendations.
Acknowledging and respecting the increased personal distance between people during the outbreak
Offering to make funeral arrangements by phone or email.
Adjusting funeral ceremonies to comply with public health requirements
Posting notices urging people not to attend a funeral service if they do not feel well
